Ora: Light (Let Your Mind see the Light)

Ora is a French artist. From an early age, she draws and graffiti in the streets of her city. Passionate about discovery, creativity, and therefore a certain curiosity, she decides to travel the world through Australia, Asia and the Caribbean. She will eventually settle in New York in 2016 where she will return to school to perfect her English. She currently lives in Williamsburg Artistic District of Brooklyn where she travels the city using her camera and stickers to in turn leave her mark.

She mainly draws black & white portraits inspired by Andy Warhol, which she combines with abstract backgrounds inspired in turn by Jackson Pollock, Gerhard Richter and Hans Hartung, she finishes with a pop touch in reference to Keith Haring and Jean-Michel Basquiat.

In 2017, she exhibited in Chelsea then continued her ascent between Soho and Bowery (Lower east side). Her “underground" artist studio was then in Soho where she painted but also signed her first line of clothing.

In 2020, she returned to the South of France to settle in Cap d'ail where she created new canvases in collaboration with artists, photographers and models from around the world to convey a message of "freedom of borders".
